Since its establishment in 1974, every product design by Osprey has been personally overseen by founder Mike Pfotenhauer, who first created a backpack at the age of 16. In Santa Cruz, California, the young entrepreneur opened a retail shop at the front of his rental house, where backpackers and travelers came for custom-fit, made-to-order packs that were constructed over several days by Mike himself. As the demand for well-fitting packs grew, Osprey found itself moving to its current home in Southwest Colorado. Today, Osprey is a diverse mix of personalities, backgrounds, and abilities, all united by the belief that adventure is open to everyone and is found everywhere.

The vest-pack fit provides bounce-free stability and is specifically designed for incredible comfort, allowing you to focus on setting fastest known times (FKTs) and personal records (PRs).
